In this section, Part A guided us to analyze the key elements that define a movie poster's genre. For instance, aspects like the title, main image, actor names, tagline, and credit block were examined. Inspired by this activity, I decided to create my own movie poster, blending the genres of fantasy, musical, and animation.
Flim Marketing (Process)
It all began with a simple idea—I wanted to deepen my understanding of AI technology.
I chose the title "A Slice of Life" for the project. The story revolves around the celebration of a Harvest Festival, designed to create a warm and magical atmosphere with a fantasy theme and a touch of Disney charm. I carefully crafted the background colors to reflect this mood, immersing the viewer in the world of autumnal hues. The concept of "A Slice of Life" sparked my imagination, and the idea of an apple slice became a central topic, symbolizing the essence of the story.
To add depth and excitement, I modified the storyline slightly, introducing a straightforward villain—an element often found in Disney films or cartoons. The main character is surrounded by vibrant autumn leaves swirling in the wind, while the joyous townsfolk dance and laugh, oblivious to the subtle danger lurking nearby. This setting of celebration and suspense brings the narrative to life, creating a captivating and heartwarming tale.
Feeling
Throughout the process, I faced challenges in getting AI to fulfill my request, as the outcome varied significantly depending on how I phrased my questions.
In the end, I put my best effort into creating the final poster. While it may not be a masterpiece, I truly enjoyed working on the color adjustments and arranging the composition of each element. Although it didn’t fully capture the fantasy image I had envisioned, incorporating the Disney logo added a touch of realism to the design and the realse date was the Harvest Festival in Melbourne.
